We're locals who share our home.
Caribbean Trails was founded in 2018 by three friends who grew up on these islands. We got tired of seeing tourists miss the real Caribbean — the family restaurants, the hidden waterfalls, the stories only locals know. So we started sharing them.
Started over coffee in 2018
Marcus, Tanya, and Alex were working regular jobs but spending weekends exploring islands with friends. They noticed tourists were always stuck in tourist traps, eating at chain restaurants, never getting the real experience. One afternoon, they decided to start taking small groups on the adventures they loved. The first tour had 4 people. Word spread. By the end of 2018, they'd done 40 tours and all quit their jobs.
Today we employ 12 guides who share the same passion: show people the islands we love, just the way locals experience them.
